Student Ministry/Teaching Pastor

Woodcrest Chapel is seeking to hire a Student Ministry/Teaching Pastor. This person will be responsible for leading, teaching, and shepherding our students. They will also be invited to teach every 4-5 weeks during our main weekend service.

We believe God is calling Woodcrest to become younger and grow our influence in our community with young families, students and beyond. We are looking for an individual who shares this passion and who will work to become an engaging and relevant Communicator of God's Word and ways. We value authenticity, creativity and emotional health. We have a passion to remove obstacles so that people can engage and live a real life with Jesus.

We are working to become a healthy multiethnic church that offers hope to all people and desire to hire a Student Ministry/Teaching Pastor that shares this vision. Our missions is to establish a vibrant community of Christ-centered faith in which people of varying life experience can walk, work, and worship God together as one.

Woodcrest Chapel is a congregation of 400-500 people. We are 35 years old and located in Columbia, Missouri, halfway between St. Louis and Kansas City. Columbia is home to 4 colleges and Universities, with a population of 123,000. We have been nationally ranked as #23 for best place to raise a family.

Qualifications: Advanced educational degree and prior teaching experience preferred. Must have a desire to become an excellent teacher, communicator, and leader.
