Join me in Puerto Rico for a free vision trip!
I’ve been raving about Praying Pelican Missions for years now. Simply put: their approach to short term missions, in my opinion, leans into the best of what this sort of ministry can be while avoiding so much of what can make STMs problematic. That’s because PPM’s focus is the local church. They develop long-term relationships with local church leaders (all over the US and the world) and serve under their direction and as an extension of those church’s ministries.
We want you to see this in person. So, I’ll be hosting a FREE* 4-day vision trip to Puerto Rico, October 11 – 14, 2025. I chose PR this year because it’s such a great location to explore a trip that feels like an international trip but removes so many of the administrative challenges (no passports needed, no currency to exchange, most people speak some English). You don’t have to plan on taking a trip with PPM to Puerto Rico to join me: this is just a chance to see PPM’s work in action. Plus, you get to hang with me, a handful of other youth workers, and the president of PPM (Jim Noreen).

*Free means: you lock in your spot with a $100 fee that’s fully transferable to any trip in the future; and you arrange your own flight. All other costs are covered.
