Youth Director

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (HTTPS://FPCTUSC.ORG), a well-established, PCUSA church
community, located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is looking for a full-time Youth Director. The Youth Director leads the congregation's vibrant and active ministry with youth grades 6+ including midweek small groups, Sunday morning Sunday School, Sunday night fellowship, as well as other youth activities including Confirmation. The Youth Director will be asked to lead the youth ministry in its desire to connect, grow, and serve. This candidate will need to bring high levels of passion and energy for undergirding the many
different aspects of our church’s ministry to oversee and continue to create a transformative and faith-forming environment. Candidates with an undergraduate degree and church leadership are preferred. A basic understanding of reformed theology is desired. The candidate will have a strong personal faith, ability to recruit and connect with volunteers, and the ability to create activities that help people find God’s guidance and inspiration, as they are sent out to love and serve God and others.
